THE NEW PR4 EXTREME MODEL OF AJP MOTORCYCLES FOR 2018

For over 30 years in the industry, AJP Motorcycles have been producing top of the line trail bikes that are well acknowledge by riders and people who are into bikes. Specializing into small-bore, air and liquid-cooled 250cc Enduro thumpers they are recognized for the plain and well-priced bikes. They furthermore have a variety of lesser capacity trails bikes as well as a 600cc Rally bike.

The PR4 Extreme is their mid-level flagship representation. Just in the middle of the PR3 but lower than the intensity of the PR5. The PR4 is lighter and packs more power as they renovated the five-speed, air-cooled 233cc four-stroke PR4 model. With no fuel, it removes 6lbs off its wet weight. It is at the present at 224lbs or about 101kg credit to lighter wheels, elimination of key switch and concentrated wiring harness. The 21” front and 18” rear wheels are shod with Michelin’s Starcross 5 Medium composite.

Upgrading the horsepower of the Zongshen 233cc air-cooled motor en route for 23hp, the latest PR4 Extreme has a Factory Racing Camshaft pre-installed at the same time as standard through an optional Hi-Rev Race CDI unit built-in. It was rather a pretty upgrde nonetheless.

Starting since a 45T rear sprocket to 48T furthermore develops the acceleration along with response despite the fact that it clearly has an effect on the trail riding capability that some may be used to with other longer geared representation. To advance the handling and tuning, the Sachs 48mm re-valved forks currently feature an external spring-preload modification. Pricing at $6199 in the US, the AJP PR4 Extreme will be obtainable within restricted numbers starting May 2018.
