In the seventh round of the National Hare and Hounds Association series, American Taylor Robert of the Factory FMF KTM won the title. He had his third successive victory of the 2017 season. Thee said event was held in Caliente, Nevada.
The riders and the audiences were brought to the deep and desert canyons of Caliente, Nevada. Club members and the NHHA staffs worked on all the sign-ups and was making sure that the race will be in its best and safest condition as possible.
There were 20 riders in the Pro Class and almost all of them are desert specialist that are ready to face the trials of the desert of Southern Nevada. Jacob Argubright of Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing started the lead with a hole shot but Axel Pearson of Purvines Racing took over the lead in a tricky uphill.
It wasn’t very long when Taylor Robert was right behind Pearson. After the first loop, Robert was already in the lead with Pearson and Argubright in 2nd and 3rd respectively. Gary Sutherlin of Purvines Racing had his difficulties during the first loop but seemed to have gained momentum by the time he reached the second loop. At the finish line, it was Gary Sutherlin in 3rd place, Axel Pearson in 2nd and Taylor Robert in 1st place.

In the FMF Pro 250 class, first place went to Tyler Lynn, second and third went to Nick Tolman and Chance Fullerton. The audiences were anxious to see who would take the lead as the race started. In loop one, Lynn took the lead ahead of Fullerton, Daemon Woolslayer and Tolman. But in the next 44-miles of loop two, Woolslayer fall back to fourth. With just two rounds to go, Lynn has a firm hold on the points lead.
In Women 86 cc, the podium was lined with a new to off-road series. Brandy Richards had a nice battle with Factory FMF KTM Kacy Martinez. Martinez came so close behind Richards. Even though Richards got lost track on course, she had still made up the time and held the lead. Martinez was also putting such pressure behind her. In third place was Britney Gallegos. Gallegos had some trouble during the race after the great start she had. The three of them, definitely earned their spot on the podium.
For the youth class, a hole shot off the line was started by Mason Matthies and battled with Hagen Boyce and Bradley East through the entirety of the course. Leading the first lap, with an astounding lap time of 09:19 was Bradley East, with Boyce in second and Matthies in third. After a series of unexpected events, it was Matthies who got through the checkered flag with Boyce and East in second and third respectively.
Pee Wee’s saw a win by Brennen Watson! He kept Breckin Beard in second place. Eventually, Watson made it first by maintaining his lead. He also maintains his current lead points.
