Daniel Milner gave a flawless performance in the rounds 5 and 6 of the Australian Off-Road Championship 2017 by snatching two back to back victories.
Enduro 1
The victor for the Enduro1 class/category was Scott Keegan of the Snap Fitness Yamaha Team, who had ridden last sunday smooth as any pro. It’s great to see Keegan and the team achieve a well-deserved win, under the leadership of Tom McCormack.
Wil Ruprecht of the Active8 Yamaha Yamalube Racing Team took a well earned third and second placings, despite a hard fall on Saturday. Ruprecht still leads the E1 Championship standings. KTM rider, Jack Simpson was was relegated to third on Sunday, after receiving a five minute penalty for deviating off the course.
Enduro 2
Daniel Milner was once again a class act for the E2 class, continuing his perfect start to the season. The KTM Enduro Rider was very complementary of the Miva tracks and was clearly enjoying the run of form he’s currently experiencing.
Josh Green of the Active8 Yamaha Yamalube Racing Team pushed Milner at times during the course of the weekend and finished second in class for both days.
Enduro 3
Husqvarna Enduro Team’ Lachie Stanford battled head to head with his rival Lyndon Snodgrass of KTM Enduro rider for the E3 class championship. Stanford noted that a softer suspension setting allowed him to feel more confident on the bike to take convincing victories.
