The 2019 KTM 450 Rally Replica is a completely new development, equipped with high class components and powerful engine. After a super-dominant performance way back in 2011 Dakar Rally, KTM factory made huge improvements from the chassis all the way to the engine making this a widely praised by factory riders. KTM Factory Rally Team Leader, Stefan Huber takes on his view on this rally motorcycle; “The all-new KTM 450 RALLY REPLICA is based on our already-successful new factory machine that we began racing at the end of last year, which was specifically developed to win the Dakar. With the latest generation, our goal and focus was to develop a bike around the style of our current factory riders, who required something with more comfort, more agility and improved stability,”
KTM produced only a limited numbers and offered to any private and riding teams upon request and as fast as the production has not yet started before, all units are now reserved. It is truly a highly demand for Dakar Racing which the KTM is known for providing high-quality components resulting into powerful performance.

The 2019 KTM Dakar Rally Replica is build up with a redesigned cylinder head for durability, transmission improvement with a new engine management system, and a SOHC fuel-injection 450cc engine extending its power even more. It’s even lighter compared to previous models after making changes in chassis and components making it also easier to handle. A new air filter box also added for more battery power and more room more electronic components.
With WP XACT PRO 48mm closed cartridge front forks with Cone Value Technology, the grip and reaction improves the handling and less vibration when riding. Comfortable seat is now placed, bigger fuel tank and capacity, and honed Akrapovič exhaust system are installed for mass centralization and ground clearance enhanced.
KTM team leader, Stefan Huber said: “The KTM 450 Rally Replica machine is almost identical to those raced by our athletes, and is available for customers to get the opportunity to own and ride a really premium, purpose-developed rally machine with high-quality components and maximum innovation. It’s been truly revised from the ground up, and we are looking forward to seeing these bikes being raced by our customers.”
The limited unit production of 2019 KTM 450 Raly Replica comes at a price of $30,215 (EUR 26,000) but all units have its owners now. All we have to do is watch the next year’s Dakar and witnesses the power of all-new KTM 450 Rally Replica.
